Sir Chris Hoy, Joanna Nadin and Clare Elsom at the Bath Festival of Children’s Literature.

I had the pleasure of meeting Sir Chris Hoy when he came to Bath to talk with Joanna Nadin about their series of books about Flying Fergus. He was very interesting and revealed that it was seeing the film ET that made him want a bike like Elliot’s.

Enid Blyton’s The Five Find-Outers has now been reissued as The Find-Outers.

Choose your own adventure books are back with Blair Polly’s series You Say Which Way.

Who remembers Anne Digby’s school stories of Trebizon? They are being reissued with new covers.

There is also a new website for Jenny Nimmo and updated covers for Charlie Bone.

The fifth book in the Old Kingdom series by Garth Nix is due out in October 2016.
